Cosmetic Surgery
In a first phase of treatment, the RF equipment warms skin gradually to firm up and shrink the collagen fibers, then, over about three months produces collagen-genesis (formation of new collagen), creating a permanent effect of contraction in the skin, thereby reducing sagging of it.
Radio Frecuency therapy is very useful on facial treatments for the redefinition of the oval of the face, cheek, brow and neck lift, reshaping of the eye area, etc. In body treatments it reduces sagging of tissues caused by age, pregnancy, and sudden loss or gain of weight. This contraction is more noticeable in the upper arms, abdomen, buttocks and legs from the first session.
This therapy is also used for cellulite treatments, since this is a problem related to flaccidity. The main advantage of treating flaccidity with radiofrecuency therapy is that you can keep on a normal life immediately after the treatment, and sunbathing is not contraindicated, as far as it is done with adequate UV protection.
