HISTORY

Medica San Miguel is a private hospital, located in the Cozumel Island in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.

We offer medical specialties and diagnosis services. Our emergency room, hospitalization and operating room, are open 24 hours 365 days a year. We provide both air and ground ambulance transportation.

Our entire medical staff is board certified.

Medica San Miguel begins operating in the year of 1962 as a maternity hospital, with one medical office and four rooms as an iniciative of Dr. Antonio Negron, who at the time was a Military Physician recently transferred to Cozumel.

In 1972 and because of the quality of it’s services, it becomes the first Social Security hospital in the island until 1978 when the institution (IMSS) acquires it´s own building.

Since it´s beginnings, Medica San Miguel has been the best option in medical attention and diagnosis services for the local community as well as for the tourists that visit this destination. Offering modern facilities and the latest in medical equipment with a competitive price range
